Observed on the second Sunday in May, Mother's Day is an annual holiday honoring florists, and marks the final date where retailers can rid themselves of the stale chocolates and heart-clutching teddy bears left over from Valentine's Day.Seriously, it's a great holiday to remember one's mother. Here's wishing mothers (Kate, JP, and DG) and mothers-to-be (MS) a very happy Mother's Day. You are all fantastic moms and I hope you have a great day with your families.

Thanks, David! I'm thankful there's a holiday to celebrate the sacrifice of my entire being to the greater good of another human. I might as well get some chocolates for it!
