Natalie Portman hugged chimpanzee "Sable" backstage yesterday night during the awards ceremony for "ShoWest 2006" held at the Paris Las Vegas Hotel. Portman was named "Female Star of the Year" by ShoWest, the official convention of the National Association of Theatre Owners. Sable starred in the short film "The Reel Monkey", which was honored with the 2006 Coca-Cola Refreshing Filmmaker award.
Better watch out, Natalie --- he'll break your heart. What's the old expression, "Once you go ape, you never go back?" (Or something like that).

Natalie Portman is too cute.
She's got that whole Audrey Hepburn thing going with the short hair now.
No wonder boys love her.
Concur, although I am starting to question her taste in boys. At least it's not that cretin from "That 70's Show."
The real question is which way is Natalie's hand moving? Is she trying to get to second base or third? That vixen!
Oh, she's already at second base. The question is whether she'll be able to get to third base without the press noticing. I mean, it's not likely that Sable's wearing any pants that she has to fumble around with.
I would also note that it looks like Sable is going for the side boob reach-around as well. Dirty monkey!
